Disconnect the touchscreen from the power source. Restart your phone completely. Once reset, connect power to the touchscreen and plug in your phone.

+ PHONE WILL NOT CHARGE WHEN CONNECTED

Modern smartphones are complicated devices with unique chargers and cables. This means they may have specific charging protocols or conduct a unique 'handshake' with the connected items. Your phone and charger may communicate with the microchip in the cable to allow certain cables to work and others to not.

Luxe Touchscreen has extensively tested current phones and cable combinations to ensure there a seamless user experience. The provided power cable has proven to work with all devices available.

If you experience that your phone is losing power instead of charging when plugged in, swap out our provided power cable with the phone manufacturer provided cable, and this will resolve your unique circumstance. Contact our team for further questions.

+ AUDIO WILL NOT WORK

Ensure your devices, touchscreen, and vehicle audio are all adjusted appropriately. (Note: 90% volume from your smart phone and touchscreen are optimal when connecting to vehicle audio. Disconnect AUX cable from touchscreen and vehicle. Disconnect Bluetooth. Unplug smartphone. Play audio through phone. Then plug into touchscreen. Test audio through built in speakers. Adjust volumes. Connect preferred method of audio.

+ TOUCHSCREEN WILL NOT POWER ON

Disconnect the touchscreen from the power source. Check that power source is getting power. Next, check that the power source and provided power adapter are properly connected. Check that the power source is connected to the port named “DC IN”. Reconnect phone.

+ TOUCHSCREEN WILL NOT ADHERE TO MOUNTING SURFACE

Remove touchscreen and mounts from dashboard. Only mount to clean flat smooth plastic, glass, metal, vinyl, or leather surfaces. Thoroughly clean mounting surfaces or dirt, dust, oils, or interior polish/dressing. A bare surface is necessary for proper adhesion. Adhere mounts when the materials are room temperature (70F/20C) or above. Allow mounts to adhere for 24 hours before applying touchscreen to promote full adhesion.

+ MOISTURE DETECTION ERROR

In rare occasions, connected smartphones will notify the user of a moisture detection error, when plugged in. This is a known device error of the smartphones. No need to worry, this is not related to the function of the Luxe Touchscreen, and it is not damaging either device. In most cases, simply unplug the cable from the smartphone and the touchscreen and simply plug back in. If the problem persists, search "Moisture Detection Error" + your phone model to correct the error.
